saturday night sitting on the deck drinking beer with friends watching the sun set over the water. bitterly cold rugged up with beanies and blankets and thick wool socks and thinking that life doesn't get better than this.

*snuggles entire flist* You are all absolutely lovely, and totally made me smile. I'm feeling HEAPS better today (as I knew I would!!); woke up chirpy - the sun was shining (ZOMG!!) and I could wear a T Shirt without dying of cold!

This weekend has to have been the SHITTEST weekend (weatherwise) we've had in a long, LONG time. I don't think (haven't actually checked the weather report yet) that Saturday reached much more than 10*C if it even managed to get that high. HUGE winds, even huger swells, and LOTS of rain.
